Sanag Student Association (SSA)
Background
The sanag region, in which most Somalis trace their ancestral origin, is one of the largest regions of Somalia this area is endowed with abundant livestock, exportable gums, potential stocks of marine resources. It enjoys attractive and magnificent scenery. Mountain Surat the highest peak in Somalia is located there.
Education
The region is however backing ward in most human development aspects. It is behind relative to other region in this respect .it has received little or insignificant assistance from successive Somali administration. The international community hardly paid any attention worth mentioning to this part of Somalia human development worsened since the collapse of Somali state.
With regard to education, its level is one of the lowest.
Though some schools exist (up to secondary level), their numbers are few, teaching facilities poor or missing. School attendance is low. Adult education, vocational training and women education non available. Little or no proper rehabilitation of damaged of school premises has been provided. It is worth mentions here with that an excellent
as we are aware of the fact that no community can make head way advancement ,unlit they honestly co-ordinate and pool their recourses for the common good , as student their is a big role for us to contribute to this common human development . As students we must there fore unite and pool our intellectual resources. To achieve this the standard of education and knowledge must be raised good working relationship of the Community and students should be harmonies the youth are the pillars of the community and its development if the foundation is weak the community will not attain betterment .
as students of sanag we there fore decided to contribute as much as we can to the human well-being of our people area.
We are aware that our role in the development aspects limited, but we can furnish concerned authorities with guidelines and information familiarize prevailing problems of education .
